Discover the difference
Our Tasting Room is part of an old barn that was built in the middle of the last century to support Pioneer Orchards. The barn was originally used as a packing shed for orchard grown peaches that were shipped out of the area. Later it was used as a Country Store to sell peaches, pears, apples and cherries grown on the farm. In 2011, owner, Virginia Lange, converted the first floor of the barn to a tasting room. She continues to add her personal touch to updating the tasting room and its surroundings.
First time visitors are always struck by the warm, friendly environment that awaits them. Nothing pretentious, just a comfortable sense of down-home hospitality. A favorite with many of our visitors is the free regulation size Shuffleboard and free jukebox loaded with music from the 50’s to the 80’s. Several other games are available for those inclined, including 2 recently installed regulation horseshoe pits.
Complimentary cheese, crackers and dark chocolate are provided for pairing with our wines. On special occasions we provide a more extensive menu of food pairings. Patrons are welcome to bring their own snacks and lunches to the tasting room.
