ABOUT PETIT VERDOT

 

PRONUNCIATION: 

kab-er-nay fronk

HISTORY: 

Cabernet Franc is the parent grape of both Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Complex reds result, with aromas of raspberry, bramble, and bell pepper (pyrazines).
